Tune-Ups
Traditionally a tune-up was plugs, wire cap and rotor.
Today's cars don't require tune-ups as frequently as in the past but do require maintenance.
(Read the owner's manual) Whenever a check-engine light is illuminted it's recommended to visit an auto repair facility as soon as possible.
Red lights (emergency)
Yellow lights (warning)
If there's a failure of any sort it was created by something in your engine compartment.
1996 and newer cars are considered OBD II (On Board Diagnostic Generation II). A light indicates where your vehicle's problems arise. The code indicated doesn't necessarily denote the problem but rather the symptom. A qualified technician needs to get to the root of the problem.
